As the writers’ and actors’ strike continues, we’re excited to report that one award show is going ahead: the MTV Video Music Awards.
This year’s ceremony is taking place in Newark, New Jersey, and will be hosted by rapper Nicki Minaj for the second year in a row.
Taylor Swift is once again leading nominations, and the biggest award of the night, Artist of the Year, has an all-female line-up. Go, girls!
